What is a good GMAT score?
The GMAT consists of four major sections: Analytical Writing Assessment, Integrated Reasoning, Quantitative Reasoning and Verbal Reasoning. The total score is scaled from 200 - 800. As of 2018, the national average GMAT score is 556. However, a score of 600 is considered 'low' by many schools. If you're looking to attend an Ivy League school, it will be in your best interest to score above 720 which is the Ivy League average. But while your GMAT score is a big part of admissions decisions, other factors, such as your GPA and extracurricular activities, also come into play. A high, or perfect, GMAT score does not guarantee admission. Our Admissions Consulting services will assist with this part of the process. GMAT scores can take up to 20 days to be released, so make sure you know your deadlines and plan ahead. Once they are released, you will receive an email with a link to view your scores online.
